So erlebte man das Trio auf Festivals wie City of London, Cheltenham, Budapest Spring und Bemus Festival Belgrad; in der Wigmore Hall London, dem Concertgebouw Amsterdam, dem Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires und der Berliner Philharmonie; beim Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Rheingau Musik Festival, den Festspielen Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und den Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspielen. Begeistert aufgenommen wurden CD-Einspielungen mit Werken der Klassik und Romantik (Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Schumann, Mendelssohn); Furore machten die Erforschung Heinrich von Herzogenbergs und Josef Suks sowie jüngst die Herausgabe dreier Alben, the French, the Russian and the Czech Album. “Three voices – one sound: it´s this absolutley perfect unit of phrasing, sound, feel and interpretation that distuinguishes the Atos Trio from all others” (Detroit Free Press): Formed in Berlin, Germany in 2003 by Annette von Hehn (violin), Thomas Hoppe (piano) and Stefan Heinemeyer (violoncello) the Atos Trio has established itself as one of the finest piano trios performing before the public today. After intensive studies with Ilan Gronich, Menahem Pressler and the Alban Berg Quartet, the Trio won the Deutsche Musikwettbewerb, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award and the Melbourne Chambermusic Competition. A New Generation Artists Award from the BBC and a Borletti Buitoni Award soon followed.
Since then, the Atos Trio has performed in many of the wolrd´s prestigious halls – at Carnegie Hall New York, Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, Wigmore Hall London, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Berlin Philarmonic Kammersaal, to name but a few – with a repertoire that includes all the piano trio masterworks as well as many a lesser known treasure and contemporary pieces. „…they were Austrians in Haydn, Czechs in Dvorak and Russians in Shostakovich.“ (O Estado de Sao Paulo, Brazil). Annette von Hehn plays a violin built by Julia Pasch (Vienna) in 2016, and Stefan Heinemeyer on a cello by Thomas Kennedy (1827).
